One of the jewels of the Nuit-Saint-Georges crown is Domaine Robert Chevillon, producer of exceptional Pinot Noir. The domaine’s history can be traced back over 100 years, when Symphorien Chevillon began tending vineyards and assigning them his name. The now 32-acre tract has remained within the family, with multiple plots graced with promotions to premier cru status under Robert’s leadership. Retiring in 2003, his sons now run the domaine. With eight premier cru sites in Nuit-Saint-Georges, the domaine counts three among them which feature older vines: Les Cailles, Les Vaucrains and Les Saint-Georges.
