Chateau Lafleur at Christie’s

Chateau Lafleur at Christie’s

by Westgarth Wines May 15, 2018

Chateau Lafleur has been creating fine wine in Pomerol, a sub-appellation of Bordeaux since 1872. Owner Jacques Guinaudeau, great-great-grandson of the founder states that estate started making more complex wines in the 90’s, and now enthusiasts in Hong Kong will have the opportunity to purchase bottles dating back to 1992. Highly anticipated is the sale of three double-magnums of Lafleurs 2009 vintage. Many of the bottles available are large format, which bodes well for collectors who want a bit of age on the bottle!
