When a winemaker writes a wine book, you can bet on it engaging all senses. Jean-Charles Boisset has created “The Alchemy of the Senses”, a book that at $395 dollars isn't inexpensive, but promises to give the fine wine loving reader an experience that will heighten their perception of touch, smell, sight--and taste! Boisset asserts that wine lovers want “a broader experience than in the past”, and the book even recommends wine to open as you make your way through it. That calls for a drink.
