by Westgarth Wines February 13, 2019

Sotheby’s will hold a three-day sale March 29-31 that is estimated to realize record sales. The Hong Kong sale has been named the “Tran-scend-ent” sale, as it will feature 16,889 bottles from the world’s greatest winemakers. The sale from a single collectors’ cellar holds the best of Bordeaux, Burgundy, Champagne, the Rhône and Italy. Those looking to buy premium wine can look forward to gems like the 1945 Mouton Rothschild, Dome Pérignon, over 250 lots of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti and more. It is predicted that 19-26 million US dollars (HK $147-206) will be spent!
