The Most Sought After Syrah

The Most Sought After Syrah

by Westgarth Wines July 02, 2019

Syrah is made around the world, from France to Australia to Washington state. It is truly a fine red wine, and while prices can be high, even the most expensive can provide outstanding quality for price. In a round up of the most expensive Syrahs, the New World beat out the old with Penfolds Bin 170 Kalimna Vineyard Shiraz topping the list at $1340. Barossa Valley also provides the terroir for the second wine on the list, Chris Ringland Dry-Grown Shiraz going for $748. Finally France shows up at number three with Marcel Ruge Cornas at $619. The rest of the list includes more Rhône Valley and Australian offerings. Click through to check them out!
