2018: Beautiful for Bordeaux

The weather in the Bordeaux was tricky last summer. Mildew, the result of a series of rain showers and subsequent humidity, can be carefully managed with spraying copper sulfate but this spelled trouble for those who farmed organically. Some wineries chose to forgo being organic for the year. Not all areas of Bordeaux suffered though, and the Sauternes are looking promising. After all a little humidity is needed for noble rot!
