Burgundy was the guest of honor at Sotheby's most lucrative New York wine auction in 15 years. The sale of the Don Stott Cellar brought in a crowd hoping to buy fine wine. Buyers came from Hong Kong, Mexico, Brazil, Canada and both coasts of the US. Total of proceeds from the auction came to over $8.4 million, some 22% above the high estimate projections.
