Robert Parker Gives 10 Year Retrospective Of 2005 Bordeaux Vintage

by Westgarth Wines July 09, 2015

With twelve 2005 wines crowned with a perfect score from Robert Parker, the 2010 Bordeaux are gaining on 2019, which has 19 hundred point wines. Francophiles who buy premium wine will recognize Ausone and Elise Clinet as previously having the distinction, but it is the first time for the remaining wines.

As well as Bordeaux, Parker also re-tasted the 2005 Napas and he recommended that these “stunning” wines now be “included with the other great vintages of the first decade of the 21st century, 2001, 2002 and 2007 – it is that special.”
