Zach's has announced "A Gentleman's Cellar: Historic Wines from the Collection of Graham Lyons Part III--the Final Offering" will take place September 11th at the Mandarin Oriental. As the title says, this is the last of Lyon's collection to be put up for auction, and it will be an opulent line-up of the heavy hitters like Champagne, Bordeaux, Burgundy, the Rhône Valley, Germany, Spain, and Hungary plus lesser known wines from Crimea. To those who buy fine wine this sale offers perhaps the most precious asset of all: provenance.
