A New Penfolds Blend

by Westgarth Wines December 11, 2017

Penfolds, producer of fine red wine in Australia has created a new and unusual wine blending three vintages. “p3” combines 2012, 2008 and 2014 balancing the youth, structure and elegance of the three years. Chief winemaker Peter Gaga notes that you cannot replicate this at by pouring all three into one glass at home because the three wines change when they age together. It is one of a kind and priced as such—one bottle goes for 2,300 dollars.
