LVMH Buys Into Napa

LVMH Buys Into Napa

by Westgarth Wines November 23, 2017

Colgin Cellars, known for making fine red wine in Napa has sold a share of their company to LVMH, a luxury brand to be sure. The price tag was not revealed but the sale includes the brand, the winery, and 26 acres of its vineyards. Ann Colgin and husband Joe Wender will retain their place in the company as leaders, and feel confident that LVMH is the right company to continue Colgin’s reputation as a handcrafted product. The winery’s Cabernets and Syrahs are sure to remain cult favorites, and with the help of LVMH will have an even broader world reach.
