Wine Trade: Value Over Volume

According to the Liv-ex market index, traders have focused on value over volume of late. The most sought after wines of late has been Chateau Lafite 2003 and Chateau Latour 2009, wines those who buy fine wine are well acquainted with. In fact, Bordeaux fared well all over, with their market share increasing from 70.4 to 75.7 albeit coming short compared to January's 78.6. Meanwhile, Burgundy slipped a little lately but remains higher than their January market share.
