France the Finest of Fine Wines

France the Finest of Fine Wines

by Westgarth Wines February 25, 2019

According to Wine-Searcher’s numbers, France still makes the most searched for wines of all. Who wants them the most? US searchers lead the list of Francophiles. Zooming in, Californians are doing the most searching, with New York, Florida, Texas, and New Jersey following both in terms of searching and listings. Getting down to the 25 most searched for wines, 20 are French, 2 are Italian, 1 Californian, and two not wine! Searches for a Chinese baiju and an Indian whiskey also dominated. While there may be a few also-rans, France is still on top.
