If you buy premium wine, chances are there are you have a preference when it comes to Champagne houses’ top cuvées. Which blend a person favors can reveal a lot about both their flavor preference and what they hope to get out of the experience. Some seek Chardonnay-based blends like Dom Ruinart, some prefer heavier oxidative styles like Bollinger, and some prefer Cristal’s middle of the road approach. Whether a buyer is purchasing to drink the wine or keep it as an investment is revealing too. Either way, Dom Pérignon still seems to be the go-to for anyone not sure what to buy.
