Château Latour will be releasing more lots of their 2000 grand vin and Les Forts de Latour 2009 rather than holding them before bottling as has been tradition those who buy fine wine in Bordeaux are accustomed to. Albeit the prices cited are higher than the secondary market's, the boon of buying directly from the chateau is thought to be worth it. The 2000 was received with quite a bit of enthusiasm and whilst the price on 2009 wasn't quite so well received for the most part the move is being met with positivity.
