Angelus Stands for Sipping
Stéphanie de Boüard, managing director of Château Angelus, believes that the chateau's wines should be enjoyed. Her concerns are valid, given that some who buy premium wine are concerned with how much they can resell it for in the future, rather than how much pleasure they will get from the glass. Plans from de Boüard include trying to limit speculation about the chateau, she thinks that investors knew the upgrade in Angelus' classification was coming. She also plans to increase bottling of their second wine, Carillon, and increase Cabernet Franc plantings.
