Champagne Treasure Chest
In 1900, famed Champagne House Pol Roger lost 500 casks and 1.5 million bottles of bubbles when their underground cave collapsed. It was then considered too risky to try to tunnel to the lost loot. Now, more than a century later, a construction project discovered the remains. While most of what remained was broken, 19 bottles were in tact! The house plans to hand-riddle the bottles and disgorge them. What with their perfect provenance, a stellar pour may soon be savored.
