Bordeaux is a Bargain

It seems counterintuitive, but if you buy fine wine, compared to other prestige regions you’ll get more for your money if you buy Bordeaux. Basic Bordeaux price averages haven’t change much, and even the top chateaux won’t set you back as much as a top bottling from Burgundy or Champagne. More over, the Bordeaux wines commanding the highest prices aren’t necessarily the ones you would expect—the Right Bank makes up a large portion of list of Bordeaux’s most expensive.
