Bordeaux Picks from En Primeur
After a most unusual season in Bordeaux fraught with hail, rain and heat, the 2018 vintage barrel tastings have begun. While yields were down for some, the remaining fine red wine is receiving excellent reviews from Wine Enthusiast. Concentration and power are defining the season, although Chateau Montrose CEO Hervé Berland reports that the wines also have “the precision of 2016”.
