Bordeaux Perfection

Bordeaux Perfection

by Westgarth Wines February 11, 2019

Neal Martin awarded perfect scores to five Bordeaux wines in his in-bottle tasting of the Bordeaux 2016 vintage, citing it as a high point for the region in this decade. He quickly pointed out that the lauded Latour, Mouton-Rothschild, Cos d’Estournel, Figeac and Vieux-Château-Certan were in good company amongst the 2016 offerings. Wines like Haut-Brion, Cheval Blanc and Pétrus are reliably exemplary. Furthermore, the Cos d’Estournel is currently below the price it should be, so scoop up premium wine while the getting is good!
