Bordeaux 2015 Hype Continues To Grow

2015 continues to be cited as the vintage to watch. Renaud Ruer, a negotiant and former winemaker examines the conditions from south to north. If you buy fine wine and have a sweet tooth, he says you can rest secure that the Sauternes appellation has had the perfect conditions for the botrytis required for the likes of Chateau d'Yquem. In the Graves, Ruer reports "perfect berries" at Pape-Clement, Malartic-Lagravieres and Smith Haut Lafite. Haut Brion is also "very, very promising". Chateau Margaux looks like it may lead the way for the Medoc first growths.
