Angelus Spreads Its Wings

Angelus Spreads Its Wings

by Westgarth Wines July 07, 2017

Angelus is construction a new winery for its second label, Le Carillon de Angelus and hopes to have it done in time for the 2018 harvest. The expansion will double the number of bottles of Le Carillon for a total of 80, 000—good news if you buy premium wine and have a hard time getting your hands on the smaller production bottles! The Chateau was promoted to St-Emilion Premier Grand Cru Classé A in 2012, after being in operation since 1782. The upgrade in ranking allowed a price increase, which is helping fund the new winery for their second label.
