An American Buys Bordeaux

by Westgarth Wines September 07, 2016

30 hectares of Bordeaux Right Bank were recently bought by Thomas Sullivan, a billionaire who own Cabinets to Go and Lumber Liquidators.  The estates were Chateau Gaby, Chateau Moya, and Chateau du Parc. The price is estimated to be 8-12 million. Those who purchase fine wine may want to known what to expect with a new owner. The winemaker from Chateau Gaby will stay on, and will also work with Chateau Moya and Chateau du Parc. By 2018, Gaby should become certified organic.
