Hope for 2015

The en primeur campaigns have been under a lot of scrutiny over the last few years as Bordeaux has suffered from some less-than-exciting vintages resulting in a lot of wine stuck between winery and consumer, and a lot of money tied up or lost. Fortunately the 2015 vintage is being proclaimed as extremely good, raising hopes that those who buy fine wine will open whatever is left in their wallets to buy it. The chateaux most concerned with the en primeur campaign would do well to make their offerings early, while there are funds left to buy!
