2014 Bordeaux Sales Being Driven By American Buyers

Bordeaux sales are finally making a rebound. While still 10 percent below 2011, the last high, 70 percent of Bordeaux 2014 wine futures sold through Sotheby's found future homes. Who are the consumers who who buy premium wine from Bordeaux? This time around it is North America driving the sales. 

This is a quite an improvement after two years of troublesome weather. The prices are higher than was predicted by merchants, matching a quality level all have agreed trumps 2013 and 2012.
